Brabus, a German high-performance aftermarket tuning company, has introduced yet another intense machine named Brabus Rocket 900. Built on the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S, the most prominent change is under the hood.
The tuner bumped the displacement from 4.0L to 4.5L and fixed two turbochargers along with a bigger compressor unit. To cool down the engine, Brabus added two carbon ram-air intakes on the radiator grille.
With all the tuning, the tuner managed to increase the output to 888 horsepower (662 kilowatts) and an enormous 922 pound-feet (1,250 Newton-meters) of torque. Nevertheless, the engineers had to limit the torque to 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) to save the drivetrain.
Comparing these power figures to the stock GT63 S, these are a massive 258 hp (192 kW) and 110 lb-ft (150 Nm) higher.
With this huge power, the Brabus Rocket 900 can shoot to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 9.7, and 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) in 23.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 205 mph (330 km/h).
Apart from the engine tuning, Brabus also developed a bold body kit and used 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels with built-in aero discs as well as a new air suspension.
The Brabus Rocket 900 will be limited to just 10 units each tailored to customer’s needs and it won’t be cheap. The one shown in the picture comes with an eye-watering €435,800 price tag.
