The production of the new Land Rover Defender is presently in the doldrums due to the limited chip availability, but that didn’t stop tuners to update the famous off-roader. The aftermarket expert, Manhart selected the five-door 110 Defender and gave it a new exciting look and a slight bump in power.

The exterior updates include a pair of big 24-inch wheels boasting a gray finish with 295/30 ZR24 tires. The 22-inch alloys are also available featuring 295/40 rubber.

To accommodate the big wheels, Manhart enhanced the arches and modified the air suspension. The cabin employs leather and Alcantara to smarten up the luxurious interior.

How can the Wuppertal-based tuner forget about the engine tuning? The 3.0-liter, inline-six gets a straightforward software remapping and now produces 512 horsepower and 710 Newton-meters (524 pound-feet) of torque.

Manhart didn’t provide us the performance specs but we know the top-of-the-line Land Rover Defender performs the 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in only 4.9 seconds and maxes out at 149 mph (240 km/h).

To match the updated engine, the tuner added a custom stainless steel exhaust with carbon or ceramic-coated tips along with advanced brakes (elective) for enhanced stopping power.
