The Tesla Model 3 gets the Manhart treatment as the tuner gives it a striking makeover. The aftermarket tuning company has made several visual changes to Tesla’s popular EV.
The largest change is the addition of new springs to lower the suspension and take the car closer to the ground. Besides, the latest Manhart Barracuda rims measuring 21 inches give it a visual enhancement. The ones we can see here are polished in Platinum Gray, but buyers can choose any rim colour for the 235/30R21 tires.
Seeing the pictures, you can easily spot the new carbon front splitter. In addition, a decal set decorated in red and gray improves the visual appeal, with a stripe wrapping the hood and trunk.
We can also see red accents on the side mirror stalks and a refined Manhart decal on the lower part of the doors, highlighted by a red stripe. The marker set also comprises a sticker for the front end, rendering a honeycomb-like look for the grille.
Not much is changed by Manhart for the interior. However, the tuner is willing to do cabin alterations upon request. The braking system is another tune-up customers can request. The tinted rear windows, however, are a part of the standard makeover.
Manhart has chosen dual-motor Performance model for this remodeling. The EV can create 513 horsepower (377 kilowatts) and 486 pound-feet (660 Newton-meters) of torque. The power comes from the stock 82-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery.
Manhart calls it the TM3 510 project, and it is not a traditional makeover by the tuner. Normally, Manhart makes several changes to increase performance. But since the Model 3 is an EV and changing the powertrain settings is difficult due to software restrictions, Manhart couldn’t tinker with the performance figures.
That said, the visual remodeling definitely makes the Model 3 a head-turner. Manhart didn’t reveal the pricing for this remodeling.
