The 2017 Alfa Romeo SUV is likely to be titled ‘Stelvio’ which will be available for sale in the UK in the start of next year. However, the US might see it in the summer of 2017. The new SUV will be released in different engine options to compete with the likes of Land Rover Discovery Sport and BMW X3.

The upcoming 2017 Alfa Romeo SUV has been tested many times leading up to its market launch and boasts an interior similar to that of new Giulia, according to a picture shared by Ralph Gilles, FCA’s head of design.

The engine options will also be analogous to Giulia saloon, featuring a 2.0L patrol and 2.2L diesel, while we also expect a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 from range-topping Quarifolgio Verde to deliver around 503 horsepower.

The 2017 Alfa Romeo SUV has been delayed several times, since FCA planned to sell seven new Alfas before 2018 immediately after Giulia. However, the planned product range might not be completed until 2020.
