Honda began adding the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality to the 2016 vehicle models, but unfortunately the 2016 Honda Pilot did not feature it. Nevertheless, Honda has announced to add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on 2017 Honda Pilot Crossover’s EX and above trim levels.

Besides Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the 2017 Honda Pilot’s 8-inch touch display will also feature a protective coating to reduce the fingerprint impression and the sun glare on the screen. Moreover, a Black and White Diamond Pearl color combination will now be an option.

The powertrain remains the same boasting a 3.5L V6 engine capable of producing 283 horsepower. The engine will be mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox on the LX, EX, and EX-L models, while the Touring and Elite models will be equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission system.

Other standard equipment on the 2017 Honda Pilot crossover will include a rearview camera, key-less entry and ignition system, USB port and a 4.2-inch LCD display. The starting price will be $30,595 and will arrive at the dealerships on November 7th.
