The 2017 Jaguar E-Pace will ride on the same steel platform, as the Land Rover Discovery Sport. It will be available in 2.0L four-cylinder petrol and diesel ingenium engine options, both will be built at the Jaguar Land Rover’s engine manufacturing factory in Wolver Hampton. The Land Rover Discovery Sport also carries a similar engine and is capable of going from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 9.9 seconds. Since the Jaguar E-Pace will be comparatively lighter than the Discovery Sport, we expect it to be a little quicker.

In terms of size, the 2017 Jaguar E-Pace will be similar to the Range Rover Evoque and will slot below the Jaguar F-Pace. Moreover, it will offer the latest and advanced technological features including the new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system.

The Jaguar E-Pace Compact SUV is expected to launch in the coming months; the automaker has not revealed the exact date. More details regarding the price and engine performance will be disclosed soon.
