Just a few days back we saw the unveiling of Polestar tuned Volvo XC90 which boasts some impressive upgrades. And now the Swedish automaker has introduced a design package for the new 2017 Volvo S90 sedan and Volvo V90 wagon dubbed as the R-Design Package.

On the outside, the R-Design package adds a more aggressive bumper intake, front grille and exclusive five-spoke diamond cut surface wheels. On the inside, the cabin benefits from sport seats, updated steering wheel and an enhanced interior illumination system.

Volvo says that the R-design package will also include a sports chassis for a tweaked performance; however, no powertrain updates have been announced. It can either be applied to the T5 or T6 variant, both come equipped with a 2.0L engine that offers 250 hp and 316 hp respectively.

The official press release states that the bookings are open for S90 and V90 R-Design models. However, the automaker did not mention the pricing details. The 2017 Volvo S90 will go on sale later this year while the V90 will arrive by the next year.
