2018 Chevrolet Malibu Sport Launched in the Middle East

Chevrolet has introduced a new variant of its award-winning Malibu sedan which is scheduled to go on sale in the Middle Eastern markets this month. Dubbed 2018 Chevrolet Malibu Sport, the new version offers spectacular upgrades and a powerful engine.

Talking about the visual updates, the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu Sport features an exclusive ‘Sport’ badge, black wing mirrors and a blackened chrome grille. The new aerodynamically designed body along with a rear spoiler and the stylish new 5-Split Spoke Black wheels further enhance the overall appeal of the 2018 Malibu Sport.

On the inside, the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu Sport boasts stunning connectivity and safety amenities such as the Chevrolet MyLink system with an 8-inch color display that supports Apple CarPlay and also has hands-free calling, messaging and music streaming support. The safety features include forward collision alert, lane keep assist, lane departure alert, rear-cross traffic alert, and more.

Powering the new Malibu Sport is a 2.0-liter turbo engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that delivers 250 horsepower. With this engine, the Malibu Sport can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under seven seconds.

Customers can also install additional equipment from the Sport Appearance Package. The standard Chevy Malibu starts from AED 77,600, whereas, the pricing for the Sport version isn’t confirmed yet.
