The 2018 GMC Acadia for UAE is getting an upgrade to the All-Terrain trim that will be available in SLE and SLT models. The Acadia is built to be a versatile crossover offering five-, six- and seven passengers seating, while being packed with the latest safety features and modern engineering.
The mid-size SUV’s All-Terrain version has an All-Wheel-Drive System (AWD) with Active Twin Clutch, which optimizes power delivery and offers great traction on off-road terrains. The new model will stand apart with a body-color grille, black chrome trim and special rims, which are hard to miss.
Under the hood of the off-road monster is a powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine which makes 310 horsepower as certified by SAE. Although, large engines are hungry for fuel, the Active Fuel Management (AFM) in the 2018 GMC Acadia FWD models allows it to achieve 11.2 L/100km while the AWD models edge past with 11.7L/100km, making the Acadia stand tall amongst the most fuel-efficient SUVs of the market. Further helping the cause is V6 with direct injection, variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation technology. The unit is paired with a 6-speed transmission and an electronic drive mode selector to provide optimal performance.

The 2018 GMC Acadia is built on the idea of user friendliness and functionality, so drivers would get Rear Seat Alert that would remind them in cases when they forget something or someone in the back seat of the vehicle; the tire fill alert that will warn them of the air pressure in the tire while inflating and so on. Moreover, the Smart Slide feature gives a split-folding second-row seat. Other standard features include a rear storage drawer, USB charging ports along with advanced safety features such as Front Pedestrian Braking, Surround Vision camera, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Change Alert as well as Front and Rear Parking Assists.
The finest design hints at the 2018 GMC Acadia Denali featuring a dimensional chrome grille, along with integrated chrome side trim, chrome-accented door handles, a chrome lower-rear fascia and exclusive six-spoke 20-inch wheels.
