The 2018 Toyota C-HR made its debut earlier this year at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show and has now been unveiled in the United States at the 2016 LA Auto Show.
The 2018 Toyota C-HR was originally planned to debut as a Scion, but since the Japanese automaker has shut down the Scion brand, the C-HR made its debut with the Toyota nameplate. It is expected to hit the dealerships sometime in the first half of 2017 and will be available in two trim levels: XLE and XLE Premium.
The standard equipment will include 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control system, bucket seats, 7.0-inch infotainment display and electronic driver aid. The infotainment system will include a USB port, AUX support, radio system, voice activation and Bluetooth connectivity.
Powering the 2018 Toyota C-HR will be a 2.0L four cylinder engine mated to a CVT gearbox producing up to 144 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. It will ride on the Toyota TNGA platform, which features a low-center of gravity, lesser weight and enhanced drive comfort.
Moreover, the 2018 Toyota C-HR will also feature high end safety features such as collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.
We can expect it to arrive in the GCC markets sometime in the second quarter of 2017.
