The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has been caught testing previously a couple of times, but never before it was spotted at the Nurburgring setting up a lap record.

Unlike previous spyshots, this time the 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 has been caught without any black camouflage, therefore some key exterior details are visible. It features some amazing components for maximizing aerodynamic efficiency such as a large rear wing, huge air intakes, a massive front splitter, vender vents and rocker panels. The hood also has a large bulge, which most likely is the place for a supercharger.

In the previous spyshots, the ZR1 was caught with a comparatively smaller rear wing, so this might be available as an option. Reports indicate it will be powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine cranking out more than 700 horsepower.

Besides the aero updates, we can also see massive brakes and dark blue calipers on the ZR1. The launch date has not been disclosed by Chevrolet yet, but rumors suggest it will debut sometime next year as the final C7 Corvette. Chevrolet will begin the production of next-generation C8 model next. We cannot confirm at the moment whether the ZR1 will arrive here in the Middle East or not.
