Ford is planning to replace the current Focus with a new model, and it seems the new model is imminent. Spy photographers have just caught a camouflaged wagon prototype test driving in Europe, which is believed to be the 2019 Ford Focus ST Wagon.

Although the prototype was heavily covered, yet we could make out a few exterior details. For example, the headlights closely resemble the Thor’s hammer headlight system, which is found in the Volvo V40, while the taillights are significantly longer compared to the current Focus. Up front, the new Focus ST boasts a wide grille with black mesh inserts, whereas the intakes on the lower fascia add to the sporty look of the wagon.

The ride height also seems to be very low, while the low-profile tires along with black wheels and the double exhaust pipes at the back further add to the overall aggressive stance.

Previous spy shots disclosed that the interior features a large infotainment display installed on the center stack. Reports suggest a digital instrument cluster might also be available as an option.

No information is available regarding the powertrain updates and when it would be introduced officially.
