The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata is going to receive a number of tweaks, reports Car Watch, a Japanese car magazine. Earlier there were speculations regarding the tweaks in the engine power but now it is confirmed that the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine will get quite a few changes.

These enhancements include new valve springs, lightweight pistons (0.95 ounces) and connecting rods (1.4 ounces) as well as a bigger throttle body, all of which have allowed the RPM limit to exceed from 6,800 RPM (of the previous model) to 7,500 RPM. The power output has gotten a healthy increase, as a result. Furthermore, it will include a dual mass flywheel along with a brand-new muffler to give the small car a distinct new sound. Not only offering better performance, the new setup will make the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata thermally efficient and better with excreting harmful emissions.

The car’s cabin gets slight changes as well according to Car Watch, which is evident from the telescopic steering wheel that is adjustable keeping in mind the driver’s requirements.

Mazda didn’t give any hint of its arrival any time soon.
