However, we can guess a few details of the car from the spy shots. The next generation Clio would have clearer front fascia and skinny headlights. The rear door handles find their place behind the C-pillar.

We do not know much about the interior. Nevertheless, the 2019 Renault Clio may have a portrait-like touchscreen. We also expect to see an upscale cabin. To aid in driving, it will have a number of driver assistance features.

The Clio is created on CMF-B platform, which also underpins the Nissan Micra. It will give us three engine options. The standard version will carry a 1.0L turbocharged engine. Customers looking for more power can opt for a 1.3L turbo. The diesel lovers can get 1.5L powerplant. The automaker may offer mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions later down the road. Those looking for a high-performance version would be happy to buy the Clio RS.

After its debut the day after tomorrow, the car will go visit 2019 Geneva Motor Show. European customers can buy it by the end of this year.

The French automaker is also readying a Clio crossover model to meet the needs of varied customers. The crossover will take some of its styling cues from the standard hatchback version. The Clio is not available in the UAE right now.
