Cadillac is upgrading its lineup and improving the design philosophy of each vehicle. A few days back, spy shots of the Cadillac CT6 prototype were revealed and now, the upcoming 2020 Cadillac XT5 has been spotted test driving.

The spotted mule seems to be in an early stage but it is quite evident the new 2020 Cadillac XT5 will feature a revised front and rear fascia with a new grille similar to the Cadillac Escalade. Reports also indicate the new 2020 Cadillac XT5 will be offered with more engine options. The current XT5 in the market comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine developing 310 horsepower. However, the new 2020 XT5 is expected to boast a 2.0-liter turbocharged in-line 4 cylinder engine as well.

The Cadillac XT5 is also available with a mild-hybrid system in the Chinese market but it is not available here in the Middle East. Considering the growing popularity of hybrid cars in the UAE, we might very soon see a hybrid powered XT5 in the market.

We have no information regarding the interior but we can surely expect upgrades in the electronic driver aids. More information regarding the 2020 XT5 will be uncovered soon.
