The 2021 Buick Envision has hit the dealerships in American wearing a price tag of $32,995, which is $1,700 less than the 2020 model year. Bear in mind that the new Envision is completely redesigned both inside and out, and offers a more upscale interior and a new powertrain. It will rival the Acura RDX, Infiniti QX50, and the Lincoln Corsair, all of which sell for more than $35K.

The 2021 Buick Envision comes standard with a front-wheel-drive while the all-wheel-drive is optional. The drivetrain gets power from a new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mill good for 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine mates to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This new mill is less powerful than the elective 2.0-liter inline-four of the previous model, generating 252 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. However, it is better than the 193-hp 2.5-liter inline-four – the Envision’s previous standard mill.

Get inside, and the cabin welcomes you with a standard 8.0-inch infotainment display. A 10.2-inch display is optional and so are wireless charging, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. However, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard across the board.

For the new model, the automaker only offers three variants, namely Preferred, Essence and range-topping Avenir. The Essence and Avenir are priced from $36,995 and $4,1395, respectively. The Avenir, of course, retains more premium goodies such as diamond-quilted leather seats, 20-inch wheels, heated rear seats, and navigation.

There is a Driver Confidence Plus package, which makes available automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, automatic high-beams, rear cross-traffic alert. People looking for extra safety and convenience can pay to get adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and enhanced park assist.
