As if the 2020 Sonata’s new styling wasn’t turning enough heads, Hyundai has introduced new features to make it look more stunning inside and out. The 2021 Hyundai Sonata is introduced with larger 19-inch wheels for SEL Plus and Limited variants along with extra standard equipment.

The new wheels are covered with 245/40 R19 Pirelli P Zero all-season tires, which are for “driving enthusiasts who want a combination of a performance appearance, responsive handling, and durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow.”

The automaker also installed the Safe Exit Warning (SEW) on the SEL, SEL Plus, and Limited variants, which alerts for approaching traffic through sound and visuals. Another great feature is electronic passenger height adjustment, available for the Limited version.

Do not forget about the previous goodies that make the Sonata an excellent midsize sedan. We are talking about the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the 10.25-inch HD infotainment screen with audio-video, navigation, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Customers can also pay extra to enjoy Qi wireless charging, a head-up display, and Hyundai’s Digital Key operated through the company’s smartphone app.

The 2021 Hyundai Sonata will hit the US roads in August. We do not know when it will arrive here. The prices will be announced closer to the launch. For reference, the 2020 Sonata starts at around AED 76,000 in the UAE.
