2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo Comes With More Power, Extra Goodies

Last month, Mazda introduced the updated Mazda3 hatchback and sedan with increased power and now the 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo is going to get the same treatment. According to Cars Direct, the small crossover carries a 2.5L gasoline engine good for 250 horsepower and 434 Newton-meters of torque using 93 Octane or 227 hp and 420 Nm of torque running on 87 Octane fuel.

The Turbo will cost $31,000 (including $1,100 destination charge), which makes it $6,600 costlier compared to the base 2021 CX-30. However, the Turbo comes with extra goodies. All the variants will be all-wheel-drive just like the Mazda3. The Turbo will look a little different owing to the 18-inch wheels, black side mirror caps, larger exhaust tips, and “Turbo” emblem.

The $33,400 CX-30 Premium has something extra for you. It comes equipped with leather upholstery, a head-up display, electric tailgate, and navigation. The midrange CX-30 with Turbo mill adds a 12-speaker Bose sound system on top of heated mirrors and steering wheel. The top of the line $35,000 Premium Plus makes this offering safer and spicier thanks to the surround-view monitor system, parking sensors, rear emergency braking, garage door opener, and other features.

Once it hits the showroom, it will make the selection between the 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo and Mazda3 Turbo hatchback difficult for the car buyers. The former is $845 less costly than the hatchback.

Mazda will start building the new CX-30 in November with deliveries starting in the first quarter of next year. The 2020 model of the CX-30 was launched recently here, so the 2021 model might take a while to reach UAE shores.
