Once the cheapest car in America, the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage gets a little price bump and now is the second most affordable vehicle in the states. The price starts at $14,295 against now-the-most economical $13,400 Chevrolet Spark. While Mitsubishi has lost one title, it is still regarded as the most efficient gasoline car in the USA.

The 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage and its sedan counterpart G4 house a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine creating 78 horsepower. Yes, it is not that quick on the road but it is very efficient in the fuel economy offering 36 mpg in the city, 43 on the highway, and 39 combined.

The entry-level Mirage ES hatchback comes with a five-speed manual transmission. Opt for the Continuous Variable Transmission and the price goes up by $1,300. The sedan also comes with the similar pricing model.

Here is a complete pricing list of the 2021 Mirage without a $1,095 destination charge.

Model MSRP
Mirage ES 5-Spd Manual $14,295
Mirage ES CVT $15,595

Mitsubishi has updated the new Mirage to a great extent. The automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection is standard while the lane-departure warning and LED headlights with automatic brightness control are optional for top models. Both the hatch and the sedan feature a seven-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Those who want to stand apart in their Mirage can opt for Carbonite Edition, which adds a modified grille and air dam, a simple body kit for the side and rear, B-pillar decals, and contrasting red accents.

While we didn’t get the pricing of the 2021 Mirage in the UAE, we can tell that the 2020 model starts at AED 37,900.
