General Motors has used the Consumer Electronics Show’s (CES) online platform to tease its upcoming 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. The crossover version of the Bolt will debut in February alongside the standard Bolt.

While the teaser video doesn’t show us much, we do find out that the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV will be the first Chevy to boast the Super Cruise autonomous system. You can see it in the instrument screen.

Regarding the specific date of the debut of Bolt, GM has been mum so far. However, we do know the EUV will be based on the Buick Velite 7 EV, presently being sold in China delivering 311 miles on the NEDC range.

For the US, the utility vehicle might feature enhanced battery packs for better range. However, the Bolt hatchback will come with the same powertrain with some tweaks both inside and out.

Of note, both of these vehicles will not have GM’s latest Ultium tech. However, with the ambition of 30 new EVs in the next four years, most of the new electric vehicles will have the new battery technology including the Cadillac’s new EV flagship sedan, the Celestiq.

Both the updated Bolt and 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV should hit the roads anytime this summer.
