Aston Martin DB11 V12 Test Drive

The Aston Martin DB11 marked the end of the company’s decade-long brand philosophy. It came with some healthy improvements both inside and out. The V12 has been long overdue and we also really wanted to see an improved infotainment system. Fortunately, the automaker listened to our woes by bringing the new V12 and the advanced infotainment system from Mercedes.

The sports coupe is available in two engine options i.e. the 4.0L twin turbo V8 and the 5.2L twin turbo V12. We were recently invited at the Aston Martin facility in Dubai to have a walk around and test drive of the new Aston Martin DB11 V12 and would love to share our views with you.

The DB11’s V12 is a powerful machine, which can pump out 600 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque enabling it to hit 96.5 km/h in 3.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 322 km/h. The engine is assisted by an eight-speed ZF transmission, which is the best you could get in any luxury sports car in the market. Switch between GT, Sport, and Sport+ to optimize your drive as per your mood.

As you enter inside, you feel a lovely leather smell, finding the dashboard, roof liner, and even the seatbelt buckle latch covered in leather. Mind it, driving the DB11 isn’t a very quiet experience as we get a fair noise from tires. However, the noise isn’t wild, it is soulful.

The new Aston Martin DB11 V12 starts at a whopping AED 1,000,000. Check the video review to know all the details.
