Good news for Audi A8 fans looking to get more power and stability in their drives. Audi Abu Dhabi has introduced 2019 Audi A8 4.0L V8 model, which produces 120 more horsepower and 160 Nm more torque than the regular V6 model. This extra power enables it to reach 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The engine is mated to the Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system with the self-locking center differential. The MHEV variants can employ optional sport differential, which distributes power to the wheels where it is required the most.
Featuring 41 drive assist systems, the all-new 2019 A8 is available across Audi showrooms in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. During the announcement, Mark Austin, General Manager at Ali & Sons said, “The luxurious A8 – which is the 2018 winner of the International World Luxury Car Award 2018 – has already proved extremely popular with our customers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. We are therefore thrilled to be offering this new, more powerful V8 version to our customers in the UAE.”
The fourth-generation 2019 Audi A8 4.0L V8 is based on automaker’s new design language featuring a mild-hybrid technology to offer low emissions. It is also the first production car in the world, which provides conditionally automated driving.
Audi Abu Dhabi gives customers two engine choices i.e. a 460 hp 4.0-liter V8 turbo engine and a 340 hp 3.0-liter V6 turbo model.
We did not hear any word about the price, however, we know the 2018 A8 starts from AED 500,000.
