The sleek and glossy Bugatti W16 Mistral has made its grand entrance in the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, Japan as it makes its way through its worldwide voyage that began in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Known for its advanced technology, rich culture, and deep-rooted heritage, Tokyo serves as the perfect destination to unveil the ultimate roadster, which embodies over a century of Bugatti history and is infused with the latest automotive design advancements.

During its stay, the W16 Mistral paid a visit to the historical Kanda Myojin Shrine, an ancient temple located in Tokyo, and the picturesque Oishi Park, with Mount Fuji looming in the background and Lake Kawaguchi in the foreground. The car also made a stop at the globally acclaimed Gora Kadan, a former imperial Family retreat, which is a seamless fusion of nature, tradition, and opulence.

The images captured by Bugatti to commemorate the visit were nothing short of breathtaking. The black W16 Mistral provided a striking contrast against the vibrant hues of Tokyo, highlighting every aspect of the 1,578-horsepower (1,177-kilowatt) quad-turbo roadster.

According to Kostas Psarris, Regional Director of Middle East & Asia at Bugatti, Tokyo, and Japan have always been a fitting locations for the brand. Bugatti is a brand that is steeped in tradition but also driven by the most current advancements in technology, engineering, and design. The W16 Mistral is the epitome of Bugatti’s values, as it embodies the brand’s long history of creating beautiful roadsters while also pushing the boundaries of performance and luxury.

The grand opening of the Bugatti Tokyo showroom was a sight to behold as official Bugatti partner Sky Group welcomed the W16 Mistral to its new home. The black beauty took center stage, and customers were treated to an evening of luxury at a globally renowned Michelin-star restaurant nearby.

The W16 Mistral’s visit to Tokyo was met with overwhelming demand as all 99 examples were snapped up in a matter of moments by Bugatti collectors from around the globe. The car customization process will begin this year in Molsheim, and the W16 Mistral will continue its journey, heading to the island city-state of Singapore as it continues its world tour. The W16 Mistral is not just a car but a work of art that showcases Bugatti’s heritage and innovation.
