Classy Toyota Fortuner Titled as the Winner of Readers’ Choice Trophy

Wheels Car of the Year is UAE’s largest independent automotive award. Recently at its ninth iteration, the famous Toyota Fortuner was titled as the winner of Readers’ Choice Trophy. The victory was no surprise as the mid-sized SUV features a stylish exterior and interior, which helped it earn applauses after its launch last year. Saud Abbasi (Managing Director of Toyota at Al-Futtaim Motors) thanked voters who honored Toyota with this award.

The classy Toyota Fortuner with its stylish appearance and distinctive features won the hearts of thousands of people. The winner of Readers’ Choice Trophy embodies the following features:

• Exterior of the new Fortuner has been revamped to become more longer, wider and lower. The thick chrome plating covers the large, upper grille that stretches toward smart-looking Bi-beam headlights. The Daytime Running Lights (DRL) are also installed, whereas the trapezoidal shape of the front bumper gives a unique look.
• The Fortuner is famous for its on-road comfort with a large cabin space. The clear-blue color scheme complements every single detail including soft textures and chrome lining of the cabin to give a blissful driving experience.
• Packing a powerful 6-speed automatic transmission, the new Toyota Fortuner comes improved driving dynamics. The base model houses a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine pumping out 164hp and 24.9 kg-m torque and a 4.0-liter V6 engine spawning 235hp and 38.3 kg-m torque.
• The safety features include ABS, EBD, SRS and 3-point ELR seatbelts to enhance secure driving.

The Toyota Fortuner is available at all Al-Futtiam showrooms in 8 fancy colors. The prices start at AED 109,900 for 2.7L EXR, AED 129,900 for 4.0L GXR and AED 145,000 for 4.0L VXR.
