Facelifted 2022 Chevrolet Blazer Debuts With Little Changes Inside and Out

Chevrolet has introduced the facelifted Blazer for the 2022 model year with slight changes. The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer gets newly designed corner vents on the front as well as a new mesh-pattern grille. Both the headlights and taillights received updates but their general shape remains the same.

Hopping in we find the new Blazer has the same interior as available in the previous models, with one big difference. The centre display is significantly bigger – it is now 10 inches compared to the 8-inch touchscreen we get in the outgoing model. The buttons and controls are also the same as before.

New options include a Nightshift Blue interior for the RS variant and wireless charging. Customers can choose from 18-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch wheel sizes. The hue options are Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.

Powering the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine good for 228 horsepower (170 kilowatts) and mating to the front wheels, or a 3.6-litre V6 pumping out 308 hp (230 kW). AWD is available for all the variants and the standard transmission option is a nine-speed automatic.

The facelifted 2022 Blazer will hit the showrooms in the summer. Pricing information will be accessible closer to the launch. For reference, we can tell the 2021 Blazer starts at AED 140,000 here in the UAE.
