The new 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class made its world premiere a few months back at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2018 held in Detroit and reports confirm that it will arrive in the Middle East in summer this year. We also shared its leaked photos in January.

Powering the new G-Class G 500 variant will be a 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine developing 422 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. The 9 GTRONIC automatic transmission has been re-engineered for a better off-road drive and optimal fuel consumption. The 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class G 500 will offer a combined 11.1 L / 100 km of fuel consumption.

The Dynamic Select renders five driving modes ‘Comfort’, ‘Sport’, ‘Individual’, ‘Eco’ and ‘Desert’. Each driving mode adjusts the vehicle’s engine, transmission, suspension and steering to adapt to a specific driving condition. The Desert driving mode is specially added for vehicles in the Middle East for a remarkable off-road drive.

On the inside, the new G Class incorporates class-leading interior amenities including two 12.3-inch displays, touchpad controller with audible feedback and more. With an increased cabin space, passengers now enjoy a more comfortable and smoother drive.

Moreover, a new G-Mode has been added which turns on automatically adjusting the vehicle’s drive to ensure excellent performance.

The pricing details for the new 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class are currently unknown.
