New Bentley Continental GT Received 19 Awards in 2018

The new Bentley Continental GT is an epitome of luxury, refinement, technology, and performance. These attributes make this handcrafted Grand Tour world’s best. Bentley has released a press release which lists 19 accolades it received during 2018. We also tested it on track and found it the one of the best GT’s we ever drove.

Talking about GT’s triumphs, Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and Chief Executive, Bentley Motors, stated: “Elegant understatement that forces you to look; engineering excellence you’ll take for granted – the extraordinary breadth of capabilities offered by the new Bentley Continental GT is unique and can only be offered by our noble British brand.”

Talking about the accolades, GQ magazine gave it ‘Best Interior (And Possibly Exterior)’ award. It said, “Bentley’s challenge was to locate the sweet spot where hi-tech intersects with fabulous luxury. Challenge met.” It added that “Bentley has created a stunning environment… Best interior? Yes, and the rest.”

BBC’s Top Gear magazine recognized it as ‘GT of the Year’ for the Continental GT’s superb engineering. They call it, “simply one of the most complete GT cars on the planet”.

In the opening of News UK Motor Awards, the Continental GT received ‘Luxury Car of the Year’ accolade. The experts said, “the cabin feels as sumptuously appointed as the Princess Grace Suite at the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo”. They also stated, “unlike many sports cars, you’ll arrive feeling as relaxed as when the journey started”.

Other recognitions include ‘Best Interior’ and ‘Best Exterior Premium Brand’ in the celebrated German Design Awards, ‘Grand Tourer of the Year’ by Sohu Auto in China, and ‘Best Grand Tourer for traveling in Europe’ by Prime Traveller.
