After showcasing the limited-edition Nissan GT-R50 at Dubai Autodrome in the start of 2019, the Japanese automaker has now announced the date of customer deliveries. The supercar made in cooperation with Italdesign to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both the companies will reach customer’s doors by the end of next year. Nissan will also present it at the upcoming 2020 Geneva Motor Show and at this weekend’s 2019 Nismo Festival.

“Our customers have relished the personalized experience provided by Italdesign, who have a long tradition in the exclusive field of ultra-rare, bespoke high-performance vehicles,” Bob Laishley, global sports car program director at Nissan, stated. “Their experience with the GT-R50 has been incredible and I can say first-hand that each car will certainly be a standalone masterpiece.”

As the name implies, only 50 units of the Nissan GT-R50 will be made, most of which are already sold out. The best thing about these models is the personalization the companies offer to their customers. This means, no two cars will be the same.

With all the personalization options available and the innovative design, the GT-R50 won’t be cheap. The automaker listed a price of €990,000 before taxes and options (around $1.12 million). This means it will cost a lot more than the sticker price of $1.12 million.

Talking about the power it generates, the GT-R designed by Italdesign carries a tweaked twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine, good for 710 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque. It is 110 hp and 106 lb-ft more than the basic GT-R Nismo.
