GMC decided to introduce the refreshed Terrain for 2021 MY but had to delay its plans due to the coronavirus pandemic. The brand now has officially introduced the updated 2022 GMC Terrain, including the off-road-focused AT4 model that is new to the range.

Available for every model now in the GMC lineup, the AT4 features trim-specific wheels, a black chrome grille, black wheel arches, badging, and a front skid plate. On the other hand, the Terrain Denali focuses on the luxury aspects through its standard facilities.

The 2022 GMC Terrain Elevation Edition will also be accessible on the SLE and SLT variants boasting some new visual features such as distinct wheels and accents. Both these trims can offer a head-up display on demand.

The refreshed 2022 GMC Terrain crossover now has a new front fascia and grille, restyled taillights and headlights, four new available shades, and new 18- and 19-inch wheel designs.

On the safety front, customers will benefit from a range of standard safety systems like automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, and IntelliBeam headlights. One department GMC should have given thought to is the powertrain.
There is only one engine option i.e. a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder creating 170 horsepower (126 kilowatts) and 203 pound-feet (275 Newton-meters) of torque. The power goes to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2022 GMC Terrain SLE, SLT, and AT4 will hit the roads this summer while the Denali will come before the end of the year. Pricing details will be revealed later; however, the 2020 crossover starts at AED 93,700 and goes all the way to AE 141,700.Source: Motor1
