Nissan updated its most popular vehicle, the Patrol SUV in September with features that are more superior and high tech. The good news for the Middle Eastern customers was its launch in the same month. However, those who were eagerly waiting for the next-gen Nissan Patrol were a little disappointed considering the current generation is almost 10 years old. To delight those despaired souls, Nissan’s design boss Alfonso Albaisa gave them the exciting news.
Talking to Australia’s CarSales, he said they have started work on the next-gen Nissan Patrol alongside other Nissan vehicles.
“We have the Nissan Patrol. It’s one of the oldest names in the world. It is 70 years old. It is one of the longest-lasting names. This is going to come our way and what an honor to do that,” stated Albaisa, talking to CarSales.
However, he didn’t give any details of its launch. Bearing in mind, they have just started work on the new Patrol, we believe the SUV will take 2 to 3 years to materialize.
Nissan has been working hard on the Patrol since its inception. The current generation is no different. The automaker added a lot of tech and luxury to it, in addition to making it more appealing on the road.
We expect the same level of attentiveness from the automaker in the upcoming Patrol. Finger crossed!
